Description
A shorter adventure where both the starting point and end point are the same, our unmanned canoe rental at the guest harbor in Smedjebacken. The tour can start at any time to explore the surrounding lakes for a few hours before you paddle back.
The kayak is locked with a combination lock at the harbor, and the rest of the equipment and instructions can be found in our storage area on site. Once you have everything you need, carry the canoe to the water and paddle away through the northern parts of the Strömsholm Canal.
Here is a map for the area you will be paddling in on a shorter trip. How far you get depends on your paddling pace and how much time you spend swimming and taking breaks along the way.

We offer one of our most stable plastic kayaks. The kayak has a large cockpit and a wide design, making it slightly shorter. This kayak is perfect for beginners as it provides excellent stability. It is propelled using a double paddle and comes with a sprayskirt. The sprayskirt is a thin fabric that covers the cockpit to prevent water from splashing into the kayak.
