Description
A paddle where both the starting point and the endpoint are the same, our unmanned canoe rental at the guest harbor in Smedjebacken. The tour can start at any time to explore the surrounding lakes for a few hours before you paddle back.
The canoe is locked with a combination lock at the harbor, and the rest of the equipment and instructions can be found in our storage area on site. Once you have everything you need, carry the canoe to the water and paddle away through the northern parts of the Strömsholm Canal.
Here is a map for the area you will be paddling in on a shorter trip. How far you get depends on your paddling pace and how much time you spend swimming and taking breaks along the way.

The Canadian canoe is an open boat with 2 seats. This boat is easy to pack and can be paddled with a single paddle. It is great for smaller lakes and river trips. The Canadian canoe has a total maximum weight capacity of 250kg, with a maximum of 200kg for human weight. In our canoes, we take a maximum of 2 adults per boat. It is also possible to put in an extra seating pad on the canoe’s floor for a small child to sit in the middle of the boat.
