This canoe rental is located at:
Sörkvarnsvägen 10, Hallstahammar
(Skantzö bad och camping)
Parking:
– “Skantzö bad och camping” Right next to the camping and our rental is a large parking lot where you can park for 24 hours.
– “ÅsbySkantzen södra” Is a parking lot where you can park your car for multiple days. It’s on the other side of the canal locks, aproximatly 450 m from our rental.
Public transportation:
To get to Hallstahammar from Västerås you can either take VL bus 511 or a train.
Within Hallstahammar there’s a free local bus VL 120, that goes from Borgåsund along the canal as well as throughout Hallstahammar. This is the bus that will get you back when you go on a daytrip downstreams.
Facilities:
Toilettes and water tap are easily available and through the camping you can book sleeping accommodations. There is also a restaurant and a small kiosk in case you forgot anything for your trip.
