Description
A shorter adventure where both the starting point and end point are the same, our unmanned canoe rental at Barken Lodge in Gladtjärn. The tour can start at any time to explore the surrounding lakes for a few hours before you paddle back.
The paddleboard is locked with a combination lock, and the rest of the equipment and instructions can be found in our shed on site. Once you have everything you need, carry the canoe to the water and paddle away through the northern parts of the Strömsholm Canal.
Here is a map for the area you will be paddling in on a shorter trip. How far you get depends on your paddling pace and how much time you spend swimming and taking breaks along the way.

SUP stands for “stand up paddleboard”. It is maneuvered with a single paddle while standing, but it’s also possible to kneel to improve balance. A life jacket and leash are used when paddling. The leash is a strap that is attached to one end of the board and the ankle to keep the paddleboard nearby if you end up in the water.
